Safe, Comprehensive, Guaranteed

Hazardous waste disposal is extremely specialised and methodical work. Our comprehensive meth decontamination service is carried out by highly trained and accredited experts.

We manage all aspects of the decontamination process on your behalf from start to finish, including site risks, project works and timelines, and guarantee safe levels at the end of our rigorous decontamination process.

Our Decontamination Process

Step 1 – Removal of Porous Materials

The decontamination process begins with the removal of all contaminated porous material, such as carpets, underlay, blinds, curtains, air conditioners, furniture, ceiling fans, extractor fans, lights and light fittings, hard-wired kitchen appliances and more.

Waste removal is carried out using best practices to ensure the safe removal of all hazardous waste. In highly contaminated properties our hazardous waste experts may also remove plasterboard walls, ceilings, architraves, skirting and doors as required.

Step 2 - Cleaning

When all contaminated porous materials have been safely removed, all areas of the site will be vacuumed extensively with an industrial HEPA vacuum designed specifically to filter and capture hazardous dust and spills.

The contaminated areas will then be cleaned using a two-part foaming/fogging process.

Step 1 – A pre-wash solution is applied to all surfaces which are vigorously scrubbed to prepare the surface.

Step 2 – All surfaces are saturated with a foaming solution specifically designed to remove meth residue and then lightly scrubbed to help draw out meth chemicals. Once scrubbed, fogging will occur to keep the foam moist and active for between  1-4 hours. The foam will then be thoroughly rinsed and removed from all surfaces.

Depending on property contamination levels, this process may need to be repeated several times. Installation of drying equipment may also be needed during the cleaning process to speed up drying time.

Step 3 – Assessment & Certification
When decontamination has been carried out, an independent Technician will conduct a thorough assessment of the property to ensure contamination has been removed to safe levels. Once satisfied, they will issue a clearance certificate.
